004 - Outskirts of Paris - Conflans St. Honorine

Thursday April 12, 2007

After spending two nights at the Lugands, it is time to move on. After breakfast we took two trains (changed trains) to our next host family Mr Jen-Louis and Mrs Annie SAUFFROY at Conflans-Ste HONORINE (at the confluence of the Seine and Oise rivers), 30km NW of Paris, a nice neighborhood. Annie is a retired English teacher and Jen-Louis is a lawyer. Annie speaks very good Queens English having spent a year in the UK studying at a university there on an exchange programme. They were kind to offer to host us for 4 nights in their spacious double storey house in a farm-looking surrounding just outside Paris. As much as we would like to, but we could only stay for 2 nights since we had to meet our daughter on April 14th.
