011 - April 19 2007 - Ardents, Bourges, Issoudun, Vierzon, Valencay

It has been almost 2 years since we last wrote about that trip to France to visit our daughter. It is high time that I continue with the unfinished posting. After breakfast at our host family at Ardent near Chateoroux, off we went to Bourges, a town about 1 hour drive NW of Chatereaux, passing through the town of Issoudun. We toured on foot and had lunch at Bourges which was a nice old town. Continued our journey through Vierzon towards Valencay, NE of Chatereaux where we visited Chateo de Valency, a nice castle with big nice grounds and gardens. Drove back to Chatereaux and spend the nite at our daughter’s apartment.
